Okay now that I have your attention listen up. Knowing that fan fiction is one of the most used and abused forms of writing on the internet, I decided to try something different. I don’t tell you what the fan fiction itself is referencing until the twist at the end of each one, which unveils what source material the fiction is based off of. So, how much of a fan are you? Can you guess what the fiction is about before the twist reveal at the end?
As of now my fan fictions span movies, shows, books, and video games. I try to stay main stream so most readers will end up reading a fan fiction of something they’re familiar with, since they cannot choose which one to read based off of the source material that inspired them; because that’s the surprise. My hopes is that those who do read one’s they do know and love will share it with friends who are indeed familiar with the source material, but don’t know what they’re reading is a fan fiction of they’re favorite movie or game, that’s the fun of it, seeing their reaction at the end.
Another aspect I include in most of my fan fictions is that I only write ones based off of scenes or events we know took place within the source material, but never had a chance to witness ourselves directly. Once you start reading some of them I think you’ll understand what I mean. Enjoy!
